Got a Question?
Feel Free to Ask!
We pride ourselves not just on the dental treatments we provide, but our commitment to educating patients so they can take better care of their smile in between visits. Of course, that doesn’t mean we aren’t willing to answer your questions. Whether it’s regarding services or something else, we’ve included the most common questions we receive as well as our detailed answers for your convenience. If your question is not listed, please don’t hesitate to mention it at your next visit or over the phone!
How often should I visit for a checkup?
We recommend patients visit our dental office at least once every six months. During this checkup, we’ll perform an exam to confirm your current oral health and recommend any treatments if we see fit. With time permitting, we’ll also perform a detailed cleaning to remove missed plaque and tartar. While at-home brushing and flossing are essential, no routine dental care is complete without a dedicated team to catch problems before they turn into dental emergencies.
Can you restore/replace missing teeth?
Absolutely! Our dental office utilizes tooth-colored materials to create dental fillings and crowns, both of which repair varying degrees of damaged teeth. While you can replace teeth via traditional dental bridges, we cannot stress the benefits of dental implants enough. Our dentists are experts in tooth replacement and are more than happy to complete a detailed exam and consultation to determine the best tooth replacement option for your needs.
Can I replace teeth with dental implants?
Not only can you replace individual teeth with single dental implants, but you can just as easily replace multiple consecutive teeth and all teeth in a given arch with implant-supported prosthetics. In the event that you need teeth removed, either to accommodate room for a restoration or due to long-term decay/sudden injury, our dental office is happy to perform tooth extractions. If your jaw bone tissue is not quite sufficient, our dentists are also able to perform bone grafts to make dental implants viable.
How can you enhance my smile?
Removing imperfections from your smile is easy at Anthem Dentistry. Not only do we offer many quick treatments that effectively restore your smile’s appearance (i.e. in-office/take-home teeth whitening, cosmetic bonding, etc.), but we also provide restorations free of any distracting metals in favor of composite resin and porcelain ceramics.
What if I don’t have dental insurance?
Dental insurance doesn’t have to be a barrier to receiving our dental services. Our dental office is proud to offer CareCredit, a third-party financing option that allows zero-interest payments. We also provide an in-house dental savings plan that makes treatment costs more predictable and removes the pitfalls that can accompany traditional dental insurance.
Can I visit for a dental emergency?
Our dental office is more than prepared to see patients the same day that an emergency appears. After all, the worst thing you can do when a tooth is in pain or damaged is assume that it will get better by itself. With two experienced dentists available at Anthem Dentistry, you’re far more likely to get seen if you call as soon as the emergency occurs.
